In 1999, a local Port employee got the wild idea that there needed to be a
web design firm in Charleston, SC that offered more than what was available
(and good design was lacking greatly). His focus in the beginning was towards
the Port Industry. He saw great need for professionally designed sites in a
market that had very few.
In 2000 The High Tide Company was born. With a small client base and a large
knowledge base, High Tide set out to take the Waterfront by storm. Clients began
to realize that High Tide was truly rising above the rest.
Since that time High Tide Media, LLC. has changed its legal name and grown to be
the premiere web design firm in the Lowcountry. But we do not limit ourselves
to just Coastal South Carolina. We have clients from all over the nation and the world.
